WellFest 2019 Recap
Investments Limited and Busy Body Fitness hosted WellFest 2019 this past weekend and it was a success! It took place at the Shops at University Park, and it was a day full of food, friends, fitness and fun! The weather was perfect and it was a beautiful day for a delightful event.
Upon arrival, all participants registered and entered to win multiple prizes, including the $1000 shopping spree giveaway! The festival kicked off with a morning Zumba Class and all participants got their groove on while getting fit. After the class ended, it was time to get refreshments and unwind until it was time for the next fitness class. Bubbleology was providing free, delicious samples of their bubble tea for all guests to cool off! I Heart Mac & Cheese gave out samples of their heavenly mac & cheese and soft chocolate chip cookies. Those craving some more sweet food were able to visit Cosa Duci for some exquisite pastries and tasty desserts.
The next class was the MMA Cardio Kickboxing with Coach Navone. All participants received a pair of gloves and burned calories as they built lean muscle with this fun and challenging workout! After the class was over, the School of Rock hosted a live concert, and all the young members of the academy did an incredible job rockin’ out during their performances! While waiting for the next class, participants could relax and listen to the performance or they could keep doing additional fitness activities.
Trek Bikes had their popular and fun electric assist e-bike on display for demos, and many guests tried it out and had a great experience. Additionally, Boca Training provided the unique Stealth Boards, which turn boring planks into a dynamic core workout while you play a video game! Everyone loved the hands-on experiences provided at WellFest!
There was also an opportunity to visit Haven Uncommon Goods, which had HUGE sales on their beautiful vintage items, exclusive only to WellFest participants. Hospice Resale had participants “Spin the Wheel” for special discounts, prizes and racks of discounted clothes. Furthermore, Levis JCC Resale Boutique was having an incredible sidewalk sale of fascinating art pieces. Whether you wanted to get fit or do some shopping, there was a little something for everyone at the event!
The last classes of the day were the HIIT Circuit with Petala and the Mat Pilates with Linda, which were both a hit! Everyone had a fun and intense workout session, all for free! DJ Fono was spinning records all day, making the event even more enjoyable! Celcius contributed drinks and stick packs for all attendees who jumped into one of the fitness classes!
WellFest 2019 was a very pleasant event, offering all kinds of activities, food, prizes and shopping for everyone to enjoy!
